Update.

This summer has been a busy one! I've just completed six week working with students on the Lincoln Archaeological Field School. I've been helping with the field school for four years now, and it's an interesting contrast to lab conservation.

Prior to this I was working on a ten week excavation of a Roman and Medieval site also in Lincoln, where we found some wonderful items I will be conserving soon. Do check back for photos of these in the next few weeks.

I'm also about to start some work on a 19th century mandolin. Sadly it's been badly restored in the past, so the majority of the project will be the removal of outdated repairs. Again, photos to follow.

My sponsorship of Magicol magazine is also going well and I continue to conserve conjuring items from across the globe, if you have anything you'd like me to look at do email at philip@treececonservation.co.uk
